Not the best, but the price is right.

Bought this item to replace an identical unit that died 4 months AFTER the 5 yr warranty expired. The original unit had multiple issues over its short life span, but we also had a 3 ton unit of the same model that has had no problems at all, so decided to save $3-5K and simply replace the condenser unit.

Placed the order online on a Sunday morning, received confirmation that the order shipped on Tuesday. Arrived at the local freight terminal on Wednesday, delivered Thursday morning, in good condition with the exception of a tear in one side of the box - looked like a forklift had gotten too close and ripped the carton, putting a small dent in one side.

Installed the following Monday, outside temp 88 and humid, inside temp was 80. A couple hours after startup, inside temp was a comfortable 74. Will know more when winter arrives and we're running in heat mode - the old unit never seemed to blow warm air unless the auxiliary heat was on. The smaller unit heats fine, so I'm hopeful that will be the case with this new unit.
